We've gone here a few times, and the food is really good, and the ambiance is lovely. Great steak options and a nice list of other entrées for those that may want something else delicious. The last time we were there, we had mini beef wellington, a rack of lamb, and a strip steak. The mini wellingtons to me were just okay, the meat in the center for overdone and chewy but the sauce on top was fantastic. I'd reccomend the escargot instead if you want a starter. It's buttery and garlicky and delicious. Their housemate herb and blue cheese butters with their bread are wonderful. The true stars, the lamb and the steak were delicious! Tha rack of lamb was big and had a delicious mustard crust on it. Absolutely a lovely date night. And DO NOT skip out in dessert! Their carrot cake is a huge slice and one of the tastiest carrot cakes I've ever had. I wish I could order a whole cake to bring home! Super great food, and if you're looking for a higher end steakhouse with a good menu variety, it is worth the drive here to Collinsville!

Steak was cooked perfectly for both dishes. Server was lovely and kept the delicious bread and butter filled. The green beans could use some sprucing up and less oil, French fries were subpar, I’d prefer to see some delicious supper club style hashbrowns.

Fantastic. I've been wanting to go here for a while, but it's not super close, so it's never really on the radar. I made a point to visit, and am so glad I did. Everything was on point. The food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere/ambiance. Yes, it was expensive, but I didn't feel cheated. I don't mind paying for a great meal, and this was definately a great meal. I hope they don't change a thing, because it's exactly what a good steakhouse should be.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Dining Experience! Porter’s Steakhouse exceeded all of our expectations! The atmosphere was incredibly romantic, perfect for a special evening. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel like VIPs. Now, let’s talk about the food: absolutely phenomenal. The pepperloin steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, while the lobster was buttery, fresh, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Every bite was a masterpiece! If you’re looking for an extraordinary night out, this is the place to be. We can’t recommend Porter’s Steakhouse enough. A true gem!

We hadn't been to Porters in years. We took our Mom for a Saturday evening Mother's Day dinner. Excellent service... Miss Hannah. Food was Top notch. Beautiful place on the inside. We just loved it all over again

Food was decent enough. Our service was good enough, but the server waiting on the next table over was very loud and obnoxious. We could barely carry on a conversation at our table at a normal volume, due to how loud and unprofessional this server was. It's unfortunate, because it really ruined the whole experience.
